Finally understand how to manage stress, steady your emotions and feel like you again

Aimee is here to guide you.

Through yoga, breath and body-based work, we start to slow things down and make sense of what's going on. I'm Ready to Begin 🌙
Does your mind stay switched on long after the day is done?
Do you have a loud inner critic telling you, 'you are not enough'?
Do you wonder why you feel an underlying sense of panic?
Are you always prioritising everything and everyone over and above yourself?

Let me say this … You are not broken.
Your body and nervous system have learned ways to cope in an overwhelming world.

You are not alone.

Carving out time each week to slow things down, through yoga, breath, and body-based practices, gives you the space to reset.

Over time, that feeling begins to ripple into the rest of your life… so you feel calmer, less on edge, and more able to handle whatever’s coming your way.

I can guide you through the beautiful messiness of being human, navigating this modern-world.

Together, we will explore ways to manage anxiety, fear, doubts, insecurity, stress, burnout, and the monumental transitions we go through in our lives.

Yoga

  • I draw upon a variety of styles including Hatha, Vinyasa, Forrest Yoga, somatics, neuroscience, Yin & Restorative, and pre- & postnatal yoga.My teaching is influenced by a range of inspiring teachers including Celest Pereira, Matt Giordano, Brett Larkin, Alexandria Crowe, Margi Young, Jean Hall, Sally Parkes, Schuyler Grant, to name just a few! I continue to evolve my own practice and ongoing learning through platforms such as One Commune, Movement for Modern Life and Glo Yoga. Rather than sticking to one fixed style, I weave together different approaches to create classes that feel balanced, supportive, and intuitive.
  • Most of my classes and workshops are held at the Tarka Clinic in Barnstaple. Special events are held in various locations including Blakewell Fisheries, Elite Spa Wellness & Recovery, and online.
  • My classes are designed to help you slow down, soften, and reconnect with yourself, in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming. Each session weaves together breathwork, mindful movement, and moments of stillness. Some classes (like Monday Gentle Stretch & Flow), are more gentle and grounding, while others (like Thursday Strength & Surrender), offer a little more strength-building and flow - but the focus is always on how it feels, rather than how it looks. You’ll be encouraged to move in a way that suits your body on that particular day, with options and variations offered throughout. There’s no pressure to keep up, and definitely no expectation to “get it right” - just space to explore, notice, and respond to what you need. I create a calm, cosy atmosphere with music, soft lighting, and often essential oils or incense, so you can fully switch off from the outside world.  At the heart of it, my classes are about getting out of your head and into your body - helping you regulate your nervous system, release tension, and leave feeling a little more grounded, rested, and like yourself again.
  • Absolutely - you’re very welcome! My approach isn’t about levels or being “good” at yoga - it’s about learning how to listen to your own body and move in a way that feels right for you. Some classes (like Strength & Surrender) can include stronger sequences such as flowing movements or holding poses like plank, but you’re never expected to keep up or push through. Resting, modifying, or taking things at your own pace is always part of the practice. Everything is guided in a clear, supportive way, with options and variations offered throughout. You’re always encouraged to make things softer, slower, or more restful whenever you need, and to skip anything that doesn’t feel right, and make the practice your own. If you’re unsure where to start, you might prefer one of Aimee’s gentler or slower-paced classes to begin with - but if you feel drawn to a stronger class, you’re absolutely welcome there too.
  • You’re still very welcome to join! Many people come to yoga with injuries, tension, or things that don’t feel quite “right” in their body. I’ll always encourage you to move in a way that feels safe and supportive for you, with options to modify or rest at any point. That said, it’s really helpful to let me know before class so I can support you as best as possible. There is a section on the booking form where you can fill in some details about how you are feeling physically and mentally at the moment, but if you’re unsure, you’re always welcome to get in touch before booking and we can chat things through.
  • Just bring yourself! Wear something comfortable you can move in, and bring a mat if you have one (if not, there will be spares available - but it's nice to have something that’s just yours). You may also like a blanket or extra layers to stay warm during relaxation. There’s no need to be flexible or experienced, and no pressure to get anything “right.” Just arrive, settle in, and we’ll take it from there.
  • Yoga supports your body, your mind, and your nervous system - not just how you move, but how you feel. Physically, it can help to build strength, improve flexibility, ease tension, and support better posture - especially helpful if you spend a lot of time sitting, rushing around, or feeling “on the go” all the time. Mentally and emotionally, yoga creates space. Space to breathe, to pause, and to step out of that constant state of doing. Many people find it helps reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and bring a greater sense of calm and clarity. But beyond all of that, yoga is really about connection. Reconnecting with your body, your breath, and yourself - without all of the labels and expectations placed upon you. It gives you a moment in your day where you don’t have to be anything for anyone else. Over time, that can ripple out into everyday life, helping you feel more grounded, present, and better able to respond (rather than react) to whatever life throws your way. You’ll be held here, but you’re still in charge.

Massage

  • Massage is a powerful way to support both your body and your nervous system. Physically, it can help ease muscle tension, reduce pain, improve circulation, and support recovery from everyday strain or more specific issues. Mentally and emotionally, massage invites your body to slow down and shift out of “fight or flight” into a more restful, regulated state. Many people find it helps reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and create a deep sense of calm. It’s not just about working on muscles - it’s about giving your whole system space to soften, unwind, and restore.
  • Massage is suitable for most people, but there are some situations where it may not be appropriate, or where adaptations are needed. This includes things like fever, contagious illness, certain circulatory conditions, or recent injuries. If you’re unsure, please feel free to get in touch before booking — or we can chat through everything at your appointment to make sure the treatment is safe and tailored to you.
  • Your first session begins with a short chat about your consultation form that you would’ve filled out prior to the treatment. We'll talk through how you’re feeling in your body, any areas of tension or concern, and what you’d like from the treatment. From there, I’ll tailor the massage to you. This may include a combination of hands-on techniques, aromatherapy oils, and (if appropriate and agreed beforehand) things like hot stones or dry cupping. The treatment itself is designed to be both therapeutic and deeply relaxing - a space where you can fully switch off, feel supported, and reconnect with your body.
  • Wear something comfortable. During the treatment, you’ll be covered with towels, with only the area being worked on exposed at any time. Your comfort and dignity are always a priority.
  • That’s completely up to you. Some people enjoy chatting, others prefer to fully switch off and relax. You’re welcome to do whatever feels right for you — this is your time.
  • Massage shouldn’t feel painful or uncomfortable. At times, you might feel some deeper sensations in areas of tension, but it should always feel manageable and supportive. I’ll check in with you throughout, and you’re always encouraged to speak up if anything doesn’t feel right.
  • After your massage, you might feel deeply relaxed, a little sleepy, or slightly tender in places — this is completely normal. I recommend: • Drinking plenty of water • Eating something nourishing • Taking things gently for the rest of the day if you can Think of it as giving your body time to absorb the benefits.
  • This really depends on you and what your body needs. Some people come every 4–6 weeks for maintenance and general wellbeing, while others come more regularly if they’re working through a specific issue or period of stress. We can always chat about what might feel supportive for you.
  • Yes - I offer pregnancy massage, tailored specifically to support your changing body. These treatments are designed to be gentle, nurturing, and deeply supportive, helping to ease common discomforts such as back pain, hip tension, and swelling, while also giving you space to rest and relax. If you are pregnant, please let me know when booking so I can ensure everything is adapted appropriately for you.
  • I offer 60- and 90-minute treatments. For full details and pricing, please see my booking page.
