ZOOM SESSION
This class is the perfect antidote to our busy, chaotic lives!
With incredibly slow, Yin-inspired restorative poses, and soothing breath-work, this session will give you deep rest and relaxation. Here, our brain's threat level is lowered, and it begins to send messages to the body that we are safe. When we feel safe, we are able to release tension and stress, and completely let go. Our parasympathetic nervous system kicks in, our heart-rate and blood pressure lowers, and our body's systems can return to their normal and optimal functioning. This promotes healing on a deeper, cellular level, as well as mentally and emotionally too. We can truly "rest and digest" in this class.
Not to mention it will set you up for a wonderful night’s sleep too!
Even though this class is slow and calming, it is still important to listen to your body and only do what feels right for you. Some of the stretches are deep, and we have a lot of time to reflect and watch our thoughts.
